It’s always so inspiring to follow the shifts in the fashion landscape up close, especially when a new trend challenges the status quo and brings a breath of fresh air into our office.
As the first spring collections start to arrive, it’s immediately clear that the silhouette in the world of jeans is changing.
Although classics, such as wide and straight-legged jeans, always retain their value, this season there is a trend that simply cannot be ignored and which brings with it a bold, new energy: barrel jeans, or balloon-fit jeans.

The barrel jeans stand out thanks to a unique, balloon-shaped fit that perfectly captures what you’d expect from trendy jeans: stylish and wearable. The legs flare out at the thighs and knees before subtly tapering in towards the ankles.
